The place where Ramdas resided after 1649 was a huge cavern, which came to be called as Shivthar Ghal (Ghal means cavern). This was where his famous ”Dasbodha” was written. Adorned by exotic nature, this place is worth visiting.

| Harishchandragad Fort is famous for its height, its toughness and the famous 'Konkan Kada'. Harishchandra Temple is known to be the pride of the fort. Sant Changdev stayed here for some time and completed his manuscript - 'Tatwasaar'. The Nandi and Shivling in the temple are breathtaking. A cave nearby is always full of very cold water. Harishchandragad Fort is situated in Junnar region near Malshej Ghat.

Dabhosa Waterfall

| Dabhosa Waterfall is a seasonal fall in the Thane District of Maharashtra. This 300 ft high waterfall is on Jawhar-Silvassa road, about 18 kms from Jawhar. The fall is at its peak capacity during the rainy season. The entire depth of the fall can only be witnessed from a flat summit near the fall.
